About Matt
Matthew Jobe studied pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin and has been in practice for over twenty-five years as a retail pharmacist. Always curious and a devourer of all kinds of content, from comics, to books, to movies and shows, he has had a passion for the art of storytelling and science. He splits his time between pharmacy, writing, coaching football, and being a father of three and a devoted husband. He loves to travel and spend time with friends, finding great joy in sharing an evening of laughter around a fire pit or while playing cards. He also enjoys taking on new challenges and pushing personal limits to better himself.

He feels an instant shock of resurgence as the rising sun caresses his bare skin. This time, he doesn’t pass out. Instead, he widens his arms and embraces the heat.
When graduate student Decklan “Dek” Thomas is seriously injured in a lab accident while using the equipment belonging to scientist Lauren Summers without permission, everything changes. His body heals faster, his hearing and eyesight are better, and he can run like the freaking wind! After he learns Lauren has also been changed, and the two scramble to uncover what has happened to them, they soon realize their lives could be in danger––by the “virus” coursing through their veins and someone who wants to silence them … permanently.
Never could they have predicted that the journey ahead would reveal a powerful enemy, a friend’s betrayal, and dark secrets which, if word got out, may have dire consequences for all mankind.
